Chief Harold Hurtt and Hollywood’s G.W. Bailey, who stars in The Closer (and was the captain in the Police Academy movies), oversaw a mock hostage situation in which KTRK-TV’s Wayne Dolcefino (who had ‘intruded’ into the festivities with a ‘cameraman’) and Sunny 99.1’s Dana Tyson were taken hostage by a group called Crustacean Nation. SWAT along with Air Support saved the day when the members of Crustacean Nation finally surrendered amidst a shoot out which concluded with SWAT officers rappelling down the side of the home and saving Dana...
