Walter M. Mischer, Jr. is President of Mischer Healthcare Services (MHS), which was formed in 1994 to sponsor innovative ventures in the healthcare industry. MHS founded Belmont Village Assisted Living, RediClinic, LLC (formerly InterFit Health Services) and he has guided the strategic planning and development of healthcare facilities with an aggregate valve of more than $568 million. As a principal in Mischer Investments, L.P., Mr. Mischer also develops residential real estate. Mr. Mischer is the past Chairman and CEO of Hermann Hospital, past Chairman of the Houston Branch of The Federal Reserve Bank, served as Vice Chairman of the Texas Turnpike Authority, served on the Board of the Greater Houston Partnership and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Encore Bancshares, Verde Reallty, Belmont Village Assisted Living, and the University of Texas Health Science Center Development Board.

Walter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
